Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Escort Nurse to join our Montreal-based team. In this role, you will serve as an in-flight medical professional aboard our dedicated air ambulance aircraft, providing safe, compassionate, and high-level care during patient transfers within Quebec. You will work in a team of two medical escorts and respond to dispatches within tight timelines.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced medical care to patients during air ambulance transports within Quebec.
- Assess, stabilize, and monitor patients throughout flight operations.
- Collaborate closely with your medical partner and flight crew to ensure safe and efficient missions.
- Communicate effectively with sending and receiving medical facilities.
- Maintain readiness during 24-hour on-call shifts, with a 45-minute dispatch requirement.
- Uphold EVAC Air Consultants’ standards for patient safety, professionalism, and medical excellence.

Required Qualifications
- ACP or CCP level training
- Minimum five (5) years of experience.
- Active Quebec license
- Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and patient-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous flight paramedic experience (an asset, not mandatory).
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, dynamic environments.
- Comfort with autonomous clinical decision-making.

Work Conditions
- 24-hour on-call shifts with 45-minute dispatch time.
- Flights occur 24/7, year-round.
- Pair-based medical team model.
- All flights conducted on dedicated air ambulance aircraft based in Montreal.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $350.00-$1,200.00 per day

Expected hours: 24 - 72 per week
