**Job Summary**:
**Duties**:
- Coordinate recruitment and onboarding processes, including job postings, interviews, reference checks, and orientation.
- Maintain accurate employee records, benefits administration, and training documentation.
- Support management in addressing employee relations, workplace issues, and performance matters.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and health and safety standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Serve as a resource for staff inquiries related to benefits, leaves, and workplace expectations.
- Collaborate with leadership on employee engagement and retention initiatives.
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- You have a minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience in Canada.
- You have completed a post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field.
- You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- You have a strong understanding of employment legislation and HR best practices.
- You demonstrate discretion and maintain confidentiality in all matters.
- You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office programs (e.g., Word, Outlook, Excel).
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- You have knowledge of Health and Safety compliance and WSIB processes.
- You’re familiar with Ontario employment standards, ESA, and relevant provincial legislation.
- You have worked in a unionized environment or are familiar with collective agreements.
- You have supported health and safety initiatives, including JHSC involvement or policy development.
- You have experience managing or supporting benefits programs and leaves of absence (WSIB, parental leave, STD/LTD, etc.).
- You have worked in the construction, trades, or contracting industry and understand its unique HR challenges.
- You have experience in performance management systems and employee reviews.
- You are comfortable supporting both field and office employees with varying needs and schedules.

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
