**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Fabricate and assemble piping systems using various materials.
- Perform welding tasks as needed to ensure secure connections.
- Rig and support pipes during installation or repair processes.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize basic math skills for measuring, cutting, and fitting pipes accurately.
- Operate tools such as calipers for precise measurements during installations.
- Collaborate with HVAC technicians to integrate plumbing systems with heating and cooling units.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a plumber or pipefitter in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and the ability to follow technical specifications.
- Experience with fabrication techniques for various piping materials.
- Basic math skills for calculations related to measurements and fittings.
- Ability to rig pipes safely during installation processes.
- Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Pay: $40.00-$55.00 per hour
