Masonry Labourer

Maclaren Masonry has been servicing the needs of contractors, homeowners, architects and designers with pride since 2016. We specialize in stonework for high-end luxury homes and cottages. This includes fireplaces, chimneys, and exterior stone, hardscape masonry, restoration and more. The work environment is positive while focusing on quality over quantity, always showing respect for all people involved in a project and emphasizing good communication skills.

We are looking for a masonry tender (labourer) that is motivated, has attention to detail, and has a willingness to learn. This will be a physically demanding job which operates all seasons of the year. Reliability is key to this role. Experience is preferred but not required.

Work includes but is certainly not limited to:
Handling heavy materials including stone, brick and block.

Preparing the work truck at the beginning/end of the day

Mixing mortar

Keeping work site clean and tidy

Keeping tools and equipment ready & tidy

Using equipment such as cut-off saw, grinders, mixers, material handling equipment if qualified and other hand tools.

Setting up scaffolding where required

Must be comfortable working on scaffolding
- Travel pay (when applicable, based on job site location to proximity of Bracebridge)
- Bonus after three months
- Pay raise after six months
- Additional one week paid vacation after a year
