- JOB SUMMARY
- As a combined Dietary/Housekeeping/Laundry Aide position, required to perform general kitchen duties and food preparation as well as to complete various housekeeping and laundry duties as directed.
- EDUCATION- Grade 12 or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- A current Safe Food Handling Certificate from Public Health.

EXPERIENCE
- When performing Dietary Aide duties. - Minimum of six months of related experience and knowledge of kitchen operating procedures and food storage and safekeeping. Ability to read menus. Safety and fire regulation awareness. Must have a clear understanding of Canada’s Food Guide. Must posses the ability to read, write, and communicate in English when performing Dietary Aide duties.
- When performing Housekeeping/laundry Aide duties - Minimum of three months experience in a similar setting, and experience in operating and utilizing commercial/institutional equipment and products.
- SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS- Must have a good attendance record.
- In accordance with the Corporate Criminal Record Check Policy, the position requires the incumbent to undergo a Criminal Records Check and submit a Canadian Police Clearance Certificate.
- Must possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted specified

**Shift Information**:
Currently scheduled 0 hour various shifts and may be required to work days, evenings and nights, including weekends.
