Mission, Canada Zajac Ranch for Children Full time

Set on the shores of Stave Lake in Mission and one hour east of Vancouver Zajac Ranch for Children is a forty-four-acre western themed camp whose main objective is to raise the spirits of children suffering from serious and chronic illnesses and disabilities. Zajac Ranch for Children is open year-round with the summer months being reserved for medical camp sessions. When not in use for medical camps, the camp is available for public and private group site rentals. The revenue raised from site rentals goes to supporting the Ranch and mission of providing the magic of summer camp to children with special medical needs.

This position is ideal for a person living in the Mission, Abbotsford or Maple Ridge areas.

Hours for this position will fluctuate based on camp occupancy levels.

**Position Summary**:
Zajac Ranch for Children is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented **Housekeeper** to join our team. This role is essential to maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation of our facilities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Clean and maintain all Ranch buildings, including dorms, dining hall, kitchen, gymnasium, medical centre, and guest houses.
- Clean private, semi-private, and dorm-style guest rooms
- Perform laundry duties as needed
- Clean bathrooms, showers, and tubs; restock paper towel and toilet paper dispensers
- Maintain cleanliness in all public spaces (sweeping, dusting, mopping, window cleaning)
- Vacuum dorms; wash and wax floors in dining hall and other common areas

**Qualifications**:

- Flexible schedule required
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Successful criminal record check required
- Must have reliable transportation (the Ranch is not accessible by public transit)
- Ability to work effectively in a camp environment with a strong focus on client and customer service

**Assets (Nice to Have)**:

- Gardening or groundskeeping experience
- Basic cooking or kitchen support experience
- Willingness to assist with other camp operations as needed (e.g. food prep, event setup, light outdoor maintenance)
- A friendly and approachable demeanor when interacting with campers, staff, and visitors
