**About the Role**

Silverstone Care Centre is seeking a **compassionate and professional Hairdresser / Hairstylist** to provide hair care services to our residents. This role is an important part of enhancing residents’ confidence, comfort, and quality of life in a person-centred care environment.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys meaningful connections, flexible scheduling, and working in a calm, respectful healthcare setting.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide professional hair services including haircuts, shampooing, blow-drying, and styling.
- Deliver services in a patient, respectful, and person-centred manner.
- Adapt services to meet the physical, cognitive, and emotional needs of residents.
- Support residents living with dementia or mobility challenges with dignity and care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow all infection prevention and control practices.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional boundaries at all times.

**Qualifications**
- Valid Hairdresser / Hairstylist certification or trade qualification (as required).
- Experience working with seniors or in a healthcare setting is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening (required).
- Proof of required immunizations, as per facility policy.
