**The Opportunity**

Are you ready to share your passion for driving and tips for success with the next generation of drivers? Steve’s Livestock Transport is looking for dedicated **Driver Trainer** to help our team members reach their maximum potential. This opportunity is based out of our terminal in Red Deer, Alberta.

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct in-cab training, road tests, ride-alongs and follow up evaluations
- Teach progressive shifting techniques on manual transmission vehicles
- Follow internal training guidelines & complete regular progress reports
- Provide meaningful feedback effectively
- Completion of solo runs in between trainees as needed

**Experience and Qualification**
- Valid Class 1A driver’s license with 5+ years’ experience
- Clear driver’s abstract
- Previous livestock and/or training experience an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Display a positive image of oneself and the company at all times

**Schedule**
- Participate in a weekend rotation schedule (one weekend per month)
- Loads will primarily be between AB, SK and MB
- Away from home 2-4 nights per week (accommodations provided on training loads)
