Quarry Labourer

**Summary**

This is a multi-skilled position in which the employee will be performing physical labour.
Typical hours of work are Monday to Friday 6AM-6PM, with overtime on occasion as needed.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

- Shovel and rake aggregate materials
- Help fellow workers with their duties on Crushing Plant or around the quarry
- Operate small equipment and tools. (Training will be provided as necessary)
- Operate loader and rock truck, as needed
- Ensure work site is organized and free of clutter, rubble, and garbage
- Perform miscellaneous activities throughout the day, as directed

**Job Requirements**

- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
- Class 5 drivers license, and means of transportation to and from jobsite
- Must be physically fit and able to do manual labour
- Willing and able to work long hours in inclement weather
- Must be a team player, reliable and organized
- Experience operating heavy equipment would be an asset
- Familiar with construction methods, tools, and materials an asset
- Timeliness is essential for success in this position
