**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that engage preschoolers in learning.
- Foster a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to support children's development and address any concerns.
- Monitor children's progress and provide feedback to parents regarding their child's growth and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience for all students.
- Maintain accurate records of children's activities, behaviors, and developmental milestones.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the classroom.
- Utilize computer operation skills for administrative tasks such as lesson planning and record keeping.

**Requirements**:

- Must possess a valid RECE certification.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members.
- Leadership abilities to guide classroom activities and manage group dynamics.
- Experience or training in childcare settings is preferred.
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively within a busy classroom environment.
- Familiarity with inclusive practices for working with children with disabilities is an asset.
- Ability to write clear reports and documentation related to child development.
- Knowledge of basic computer operations for administrative duties is required.
- Fluency in French is considered an asset but not mandatory.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 10 months

Pay: $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
