Temporary full-time position (35 hours/week)
LOCATION OF WORK : Kuujjuaq with possibility of teleworking
IMMEDIATE SUPERIOR: Director of Technical Services
STARTING DATE: To be determined

FUNCTIONS:
Assumes the responsibility for the realization of construction, renovation and conservation projects as well as of installation planning. Meets the internal clients to identify clearly the objectives associated with the project.

Organizes activities related to the projects, such as defining the concept, preparation of plans and specifications, tenders and supervision of the work.

Coordinates the activities of professionals and sub-contractors and carries out the administrative and financial control of the projects assigned.

The person will have to manage a workload of $5 million with projects ranging from $500,000 to $5 million. On average, the person manages at least 3 projects of approximately $1.5 million each, plus small one-time mandates with tight deadlines, such as ordering hardware, materials and others. The person must be occasionally available to travel to Nunavik.

TASKS DESCRIPTION:
According to the rules of good practice described in the PMBOK

Participate in the various phases of project initiation in collaboration with all other technical services resources;
Coordinate and ensure proper planning of projects, in collaboration with the Director of Technical Services and all other stakeholders;
Collaborate professionally with the various stakeholders during the project implementation phase and ensure that projects are completed;
Coordinate and manage the monitoring of projects in collaboration with all stakeholders;
Ensure that projects are closed according to the project plan;
Prepare project completion reports and assist the Finance Officer in preparing claims to the Regional Board

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in architecture or engineering;
- Three (3) years of relevant construction projects management in a similar field to the services to be provided;
- ASP construction card;
- Good command of the Microsoft Office suite;
- Good knowledge of Autocad and MS Project (an asset);
- Member of the order of architects of Quebec (OAQ) or of the order of engineers of Quebec (OIQ) is an asset;
- Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) awarded by the Project Management Institute (PMI) is an asset;
- Knowledge of the procedures and processes in respect of the implementation of projects in the health and social services network is an asset;
**Conditions and benefits**
SALARY : Min.: $ 991.55 Max.: $ 1850.80

If working at Kuujjuaq:
NORTHERN PREMIUM : $ 203.66 / week
HIGH COST LIVING PREMIUM : $ 61.16/ week
RETENTION PREMIUM : $ 114.99 / week

Any person recruited in Quebec more than 50 kilometers from the locality in which she is called upon to perform her duties, will be granted annual trips and lodging unit as per status (shared lodging if necessary).
