Founded in 1919, Davis Machine is an ISO 9001 certified Custom Manufacturer/Job Shop providing machining, welding and babbitt bearing services to a diverse spectrum of industry which include; power generation, mining, oil and gas, transportation, agriculture, chemical, food services, utilities, industrial, construction and scientific technology for over 100 years The greatest asset Davis Machine can boast is its highly skilled and professional work force.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- On the shop floor, working Supervisor
- Direct customer interaction and ongoing timely communication
- Organized, and did we mention strong communicator
- Accurately interpret drawings and specifications
- Asist in scheduling work, labour, and equipment to meet customer requirements
- Communicates details of jobs to tradespeople
- Communicate changes to job scope and/or schedule directly with customers
- Fostering long-term relationships Davis Machine is known for
- Provide assistance on the floor as required
- Responsible for shop staff hiring, coaching, and retaining
- Ensures workplace safety so every employee goes home each day unharmed
- Estimating small jobs labour & material and job costing upon completion
- Assist the estimator with labour estimates for larger projects
- Procurement of raw materials, subcontractors and tooling in real time
- Responsible to ensure only quality products leave on time as required
- Leads daily huddles utilizing Lean practices
- Play a critical role within our management team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $75,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekend availability
