**Overview**
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers/Companions to provide essential support and companionship to individuals in need. **MUST BE WILLING TO COMMUTE TO AIRDRIE**. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for clients, particularly those with developmental disabilities, memory care needs, or those requiring assistance with daily living activities. As a Caregiver/Companion, you will play a crucial role in fostering a safe and nurturing environment while promoting independence and dignity.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Assist with medication administration as per care plans.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the client's living space.
- Support clients with mobility needs, including the use of assistive devices like Hoyer lifts.
- Provide support for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other memory-related conditions.
- Facilitate social interactions and community engagement for clients.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as home health, assisted living, or long-term care is preferred.
- Familiarity with patient observation techniques and monitoring vital signs.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or other special needs is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
- Understanding of cleaning protocols to maintain a hygienic environment for clients.
