_Full-time Warehouse Shipper/Receiver Forklift Operator & Material Handler_

We are currently looking to fill a full-time warehouse shipper/receiver forklift operator & material handler position. Applicant must have a valid forklift certificate and experience in a general shipping/receiving warehouse role.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Unloads inbound trucks and containers ensure pallets are safely moved to designated areas within the warehouse facility.
- Load containers, trucks, and other vehicles for transporting goods
- Stacks and stores pallets in designated areas using a forklift, and/or reach truck.
- Count, weigh, and inspect materials are not damaged or opened upon receipt
- Fill warehouse orders by picking, pulling and preparing flooring for shipment.
- Ensures that the exact number of boxes, pallets and product is loaded and shipped.
- Prepare, organize and pick product samples.
- Performs picking duties in an efficient manner meeting customer service standards.
- Moves product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers.
- Operates all equipment safely and efficiently following prescribed work methods.
- Maintains appropriate records and reports to guarantee inventory control and security.
- Assists in physical inventory count.
- Ensures proper stock rotation.
- Conducts cycle counts as requested.
- Dispose of leftover packing materials including broken unusable pallets, garbage and cardboard
- General Microsoft Excel and computer knowledge would be an asset.
- Prepare in house samples when required.
- Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness and safety of work environment.
- Accepting, Counting and confirming inventory upon receipt or delivery.
- Inspecting inventory for damage and faults.
- Communicating errors to relevant parties.
- Marking and labeling stock.
- Loading and wrapping stock onto pallets
- Building loads with pallet jack or electric forklift
- Follow regular forklift maintenance checklist and schedule ensuring all batteries are charged and watered
- Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness and safety of warehouse office and warehouse environment.

**Warehouse Skills and Qualifications**:

- Excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge of machinery used for transporting or storing materials
- Understanding of inventory
- Ability to use computer technology to track inventory, and keep a record of storage
- Ability to work well with others

**Job-Related Requirements**:

- Must be 18 years or older
- At least 1-year forklift experience and/or using warehouse distribution equipment.
- Experience with reach lift and/or order picker experience would be an asset.
- Valid forklift certification.
- Physically strong, agile and dexterous
- Must be able to lift and/or pull 50-75 lbs without restriction.
- Display strong attention to detail and work ethic.
- Possess good communication skills.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Work well as part of a team and also on his/her own.
- Must have attention to detail.
- Positive work history and ability to maintain solid attendance.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
