- Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods and materials to various locations
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the truck and report any issues or malfunctions
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or accidents
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding transportation, delivery schedules, and customer service

Qualifications:

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a truck driver or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of freight handling and transportation regulations
- Ability to operate forklifts or other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Basic automotive repair skills to handle minor maintenance tasks on the truck
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines
