Physiotherapy Assistant

Help create and carry out treatment programs under the direction of the registered physiotherapists, to rehabilitate patients with various injuries
- Administer modalities if/as indicated by the physiotherapists
- Collaborate with the rehabilitation team members on patient care
- Monitor patient progress and report changes in health status to the physiotherapist
- Maintain accurate records of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in SOAP format using electronic medical software
- Clean and maintain rooms and physiotherapy equipment
- Assist with administrative tasks as required
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient enquiries and concerns promptly and with courtesy

Qualifications/Requirements
- College diploma of a physiotherapy/occupational therapy assistant program or equivalent
- Clinical work experience of at least 1 year is an asset
- CPR training preferred (training/recertification available)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Brings a positive, professional and flexible attitude to work each day
- Sound critical thinking, good judgment and problem-solving skills
- Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and adapt in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Is fully bilingual in English/French (not required but an asset)
- Travel is required to other locations. Holds a valid Ontario driver’s license and access to own vehicle is essential.

**Salary**: $21-$25/hour (depending on experience)
Work Hours: Monday-Friday 8;30am - 4:30pm (may vary depending on the needs of the clinic)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
