RESPONSIBILITIES:
To serve the guest in a professional and courteous manner. To maintain the cleanliness of the service areas.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Responsible to prepare breakfast/social buffet, maintain the breakfast/social buffet, and clear breakfast/social buffet
Responsible for clearing the customer eating area and keeping it neat and tidy before, during, and after breakfast/social
Responsible for following the standards of dress code
Responsible for quick, efficient service to the customer to maintain customer satisfaction and exceed guest expectations.
Understand all company standards and procedures as outlined in your orientation package and training manual.
Responsible for keeping all wait staff service areas clean and stocked at all times.
Responsible to have a working knowledge of service equipment and cleaning techniques and to report all failures or deterioration of equipment to your manager
Is responsible to participate in training sessions, maintaining company procedures and methods known as standard practice
Responsible for keeping all areas of the dining room or function room clean and set at all times
Performs all other tasks as required.
EDUCATION: Bar service or wait staff service courses an asset
Smart Serve
EXPERIENCE: Previous serving experience an asset. Good communication and interpersonal skills, mature attitude. Must be willing to participate in ongoing training of techniques and equipment
KEY CORE
COMPETENCIES: Self-Motivated, Positive Attitude, Adaptability, Ownership, Guest service and have open availability mostly mornings (including weekends & holidays).
