Our Animal Care Technicians are provided with on-the-job training beginning with a solid understanding of the basics of patient care and facility maintenance. From there, the sky is the limit Even paid-in-full tuition in an accredited Veterinary Technician program is on the table. **You can earn your RVT credential at no cost to you while you work**

Starting wage is $20.00/hour ($23.00/hr differential when on night shift). There are 5 in-house tests you can write, each time you pass one, you earn a $1.00/hr raise. **You can increase your rate of pay by $5.00/hr as quickly as you want to** Perks include full benefits including dental, FIGS uniform tops provided, Trupanion pet insurance premiums paid, generous CE allotment including travel and time off, ability to decide your own raises, a snack bar - and yes, we’ll be sure to stock what you like You are even welcome to bring your well-behaved, vaccinated and dewormed dog to work with you

This position rotates between approximately three weeks of daytime and one week of overnight shifts. When on overnight shifts, you can look forward to a long weekend every weekend, and a $3/hr wage differential.

Please note that this position does also include outdoor work such as caring for hospital lawns and gardens, shovelling, cleaning up garbage and debris, etc. The corporation owns 4 properties, 1 of which is located in Espanola. Occasionally you will have a shift scheduled in Espanola.
