**SUMMARY**

The warehouse worker performs an array of functions that include receiving stock, placing stock into bin locations, picking outbound orders, cycle counts, inventory control and housekeeping. Please note this is a full-time position 8AM-5PM, Monday to Friday, working out of our Vancouver Warehouse located at 120-7791 Nelson Rd, Richmond, BC V6W 1G3.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

Other duties may be assigned by the company.
- Responsible for the unloading and loading of containers and trailers.
- Receiving inbound stock and placing the goods in designated bin locations within the warehouse as instructed by the Supervisor or Manager.
- Pick and verify outbound orders.
- Label outbound pallets for shipment.
- Ensure packaging slip and bill of lading are signed before tires are shipped.
- Serve customers with a high level of service.
- Physical Inventory counts, accuracy of recording data and understanding of basic computer skills
- Follow and implement company rules and procedures.
- Maintain safe and clean work environment.
- Adhere to required safety standards by wearing the proper safety equipment and following safety rules.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. These are the requirements listed below:

- Previous work experience in a warehouse environment is mandatory.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively
- Operate forklift and stand-up order picker effectively and safely and have a current and valid forklift license.
- Proficient in basic computer skills and experience in the use of RF guns.
- Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment; prioritize responsibilities.
- Strong work ethic and teamwork skills.
- Perform Inventory Counts. Must have basic mathematical skills.
- Read and speak English or French effectively.
- Valid work permit and/or citizenship is required to be employed and maintain employment at Toyo Tires as per applicable federal and provincial employment law.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
