Lift All Crane Rentals Ltd. is excited to announce that we're seeking a full-time permanent dispatcher to join our talented team. This individual will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling our mobile cranes for various jobs in the GTA. The dispatcher is expected to size up jobs based using crane load charts and 3D lift plans to ensure the right size crane is sent to perform the work. You will also be required to maintain an up-to-date dispatch sheet and schedule regular maintenance and/or repairs of the fleet. This person should have strong experience in a dispatch position and be a strong communicator and quick on their feet, able to manage the dynamic conditions that our customers, professional hoisting engineers, and other partners work in. The dispatcher wears a number of different hats each day: customer service, driver experience, and equipment utilization. **A Day In The Life of The Dispatcher** - Ensure operators are provided with timely and accurate dispatches, routing, and instructions regarding the job; act as the first point of contact for operators, showing patience and empathy in all situations - Communicate with customers on a day-to-day basis to understand their upcoming hoisting requirements; manage customer demand with equipment supply as both ebb and flow - Monitor driver movements and communicate delays or potential delays with customers; you are solution-oriented - Maximize equipment utilization on a daily basis - Coordinate with customers and the Lift All team to accurately and efficiently maintain a daily dispatch sheet. - Communicate with Lift All Cranes Fleet Manager regarding crane, truck, and trailer maintenance schedules and availability, ensuring the dispatch plan accommodates regular maintenance - Be familiar with fleet load charts to ensure the correct crane is dispatched. - Prepare 3D lift plans when needed (training on this will be provided) **What You'll Bring To The Table** - 2+ years of relevant dispatch experience - Ability to patiently and productively communicate with customers, operators, and management - With a mindset of continuous improvement; you're always thinking, "there must be a better way to do this" - Excellent computer skills; experience with 3D lift plans preferred **What’s in it for you and who we are**: Lift All Crane is a mid-sized mobile crane company founded in 2007.
