**OVERVIEW**:
Working in a flexible mobile work style arrangement, Alberta Blue Cross has an opening for an enthusiastic, team
- oriented, results-driven Drug Benefits Manager to join our team to support our private plan business. This position has initially been approved for an 18 month temporary term.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:

- Advise and support internal and external stakeholders on issues related to the management of the drug benefits. This includes support for presentations and meetings, and the provision of information to increase understanding of Alberta Blue Cross drug products and programs.
- Negotiates and provide oversight of the administration of private plan Product Listing Agreements.
- Analyzes drug benefit analytics to derive Product Listing Agreement negotiation strategies, and to provide drug benefit plan recommendations for senior management and our clients.
- Based on a solid understanding of the industry, the Drug Benefit Manager continually monitors the environment in order to proactively identify issues which could affect Alberta Blue Cross’ drug management strategies.
- Provide analysis and recommendations to senior management and supports the development of services and strategies to ensure Alberta Blue Cross’ drug benefit management capabilities are innovative, competitive and contributes to ensuring plan sustainability.
- Supports our product team in developing health and wellness products.
- Research issues thoroughly and develops insightful and workable recommendations.
- Contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of Alberta Blue Cross relationships with our key stakeholders.

**WHAT YOU WILL HAVE**:

- Strong comprehension of Product Listing Agreements with demonstrated expertise in successful negotiations.
- Demonstrated planning, organizational, and presentation skills.
- A proven track record in leadership roles.
- Proven research skills in the analysis of complex issues.
- Exceptional proficiency in developing and maintaining positive customer relationships over extended periods of time.
- Exemplary interpersonal skills supported by excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven commitment to providing superior levels of customer support.
- Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office products.
