**About Peacasa**:
Peacasa is an early-stage startup company that manufactures Chickpea Chips inspired by an ancient recipe from the South of France called Socca. We began manufacturing our chips just 3 years ago and are now in 500 stores across major chains. We are a small dynamic team primed to grow quickly over the next few years. We operate out of our production facility at the GROVE in East London where we are surrounded by other awesome food startups

**Job Info**:
**Pay**:$23 per hour

**Hours**: 0-15 hrs/week

**Please note**: This is an independent contractor position, not an employee role; contractors are responsible for their own taxes, benefits, and insurance. Mileage and approved expenses will be reimbursed as outlined and agreed upon in the contract.

**Key Responsibilities Include**:

- Set up and take down demo stations at grocery stores
- Distribute samples of Peacasa Chickpea Chips to shoppers
- Connect with customers using a friendly, energetic and approachable attitude
- Educate customers about Peacasa chips and encourage sales
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance, adhering to food safety standards
- Accurately track and report key metrics from each demo event

**Requirements**:

- Passion for startup culture and understanding its unique challenges and opportunities
- Experience in conducting product demos (preferred)
- Basic sales experience and confidence engaging customers
- Basic knowledge of the CPG industry and food products
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and reliable with the ability to manage time effectively and work independently
- Availability to work flexible hours, including some weekends and evenings
- Reliable access to a vehicle, with the ability travel to various demo locations independently
- Up-to-date Food Handlers Certification (preferred)
- Legal entitlement to work in Canada

**Job Type**: Freelance

Pay: $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 15 per week
