Matrix is hiring hard working, reliable and experienced Framing Carpenters for a longterm, ongoing work with one of our amazing clients in Calgary, AB. Starting minimum is $32/hr. Our client is a residential architectural and design firm.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Measuring, cutting, and shaping timber, wood, and other building materials precisely.
- Using screws, nuts, and bolts to secure building components.
- Putting up temporary structures like scaffolds and hoists.
- Repairing existing framework constructions that have been damaged or are structurally unsafe.
- Analyzing blueprints and drawings to establish the structural dimensions of the to-be-built framework.
- Identifying potential structural issues by analysing building designs.
- Examining construction materials for flaws.
- Cleaning up job sites by removing any carpentry trash and garbage.
- Building wooden concrete forms to help the construction team instal diverse concrete structures.

**Requirements**:

- Valid Fall Protection Certification
- WHMIS or CSTS an asset
- Own Tool pouch
- Own Tools
- PPE

**Qualifications**:

- 3 years minimum in framing experience
