**Position Summary**:
The General Maintenance Carpenter tends to all areas of construction and maintenance in the yard and ongoing projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Planning, assembling and disassembling framing for wind blockers.
- Operating and maintaining a variety of manual tools and power tools such as handsaws, chainsaws, measuring tape etc.
- Managing repairs and upgrades to the facility.
- Managing grounds keeping duties, such as snow removal utilizing heavy equipment and other miscellaneous tasks.
- Construct/Erect scaffolding as instructed.
- Demonstrate flexibility to ensure deadlines are met.
- Bring any issues or possible delays to management’s attention and propose solutions.
- Other duties as required

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Minimum of 5 years of general carpentry experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Work effectively and efficiently while maintaining a safe work environment
- Forklift Operator License beneficial
