Live-in Condominium Superintendent

Full-time live-in Superintendent position available for an 79 unit condominium building in Bedford. Compensation includes a competitive annual salary, a two bedroom condominium unit (taxable benefit), all utilities (heat, water, hot water, electricity, basic cable, internet) and indoor parking. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to facility management of heat & hot water systems, chillers, pool, garages, and building fire safety and security; cleaning and general maintenance of the building such as small repairs and paint touch-ups; carrying and answering building cell phone 24/7 and responding to emergencies; working in conjunction with the Property Manager to monitor subcontractors and communicate with the residents of the building; schedule and monitor resident moves, etc. Some evenings and weekends required based on emergency calls or pre-arranged services. Experience (three+ yrs) as a Superintendent and demonstrated facilities management skills required. Must have good communication and computer skills, be able to keep relationships professional, and be able to organize and keep control of several tasks or ongoing issues at a time. Job is a full-time, permanent position with a salary range of $35,000.00-$40,000.00 per year. A criminal record clearance is required. Training as required will be provided for: WHMIS, fall arrest, pool maintenance, etc. Typical schedule is business hours Monday to Friday and on call 24/7 for emergencies only.
