**Warehouse / Inventory Associate**

Established in 2008, Live Electric has built a reputation as a top Tri-Cities electrical contractor. Live Electric’s values on providing customers with quality work, great customer service and competitive pricing have allowed them to grow from a 2-person operation to a team of over 40 with a fully stocked 15, 000 sq. ft warehouse. We offer comprehensive services in the Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Agricultural and Infrastructure sectors.

As we continue to grow, we are looking to add a talented Warehouse / Inventory Associate to our team. This is a full time opportunity based out of our Cambridge, Ontario shop.

Here’s what you’ll do as a Warehouse / Inventory Associate:

- Organize stock and material within the warehouse by properly unboxing and storing goods in their designated location
- Verify all incoming shipments and report any missing or back-ordered products
- Prepare and stage materials for pickup or delivery to job sites
- Receive and accurately maintain company purchase order database including all stock and warehouse items
- Accurately pick inventory based on purchase orders and job requirements
- Loading and unloading of work trucks and trailers
- Order material and generate purchase order according to projects
- Maintain an organized, clean and safe warehouse space
- Making material deliveries to suppliers and to job sites as required

Here’s what we’re looking for in our next Warehouse / Inventory Associate:

- Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a warehouse, inventory or similar role is preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, climb ladders and perform all physical requirements of the role in a safe manner
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy of work
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills are essential
- Experience with software such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Experience using a forklift and/or professional forklift certification is preferred
- Clean driving record
- A team-focused, reliable and respectful attitude
- Electrical knowledge is an asset
