**Overview**

The Assistant Restaurant Manager will guarantee that staff deliver outstanding guest experiences, creating memorable moments. They will take charge of leading, nurturing, and coaching a team of skilled employees to elevate service levels and uphold standards.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Overseeing the performance of restaurant staff, which include servers, hosts/hostesses, and bartenders. This entails creating schedules, delegating tasks, and ensuring adherence to hotel policies and regulations.
- Aiding in the training and advancement of restaurant personnel to guarantee exceptional customer service, adherence to protocols, and maintenance of hygiene standards.
- Ensuring guests enjoy a positive dining experience by promptly addressing any concerns or complaints and cultivating a warm and professional ambiance.
- Supervising the monitoring and management of food, beverage, and supply inventory to maintain operational efficiency and prevent shortages.
- Assisting in crafting budgets and implementing cost-cutting measures to enhance profitability, including expense monitoring and resource optimization.
- Collaborating with the head chef and management to craft menus that cater to guest preferences and are financially feasible, including pricing adjustments based on cost analysis and market trends.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations in areas such as food safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices.
- Contributing to the development of strategies to boost customer engagement, drive sales, and promote special events or offers.
- Managing administrative duties like record-keeping and report preparation.
- Assist the restaurant manager as and when required.
- Serving as a bridge between restaurant staff and management, conveying feedback, concerns, and suggestions to foster effective communication and teamwork.

**Job Requirements**
- A minimum of 1 year of restaurant management experience (preferred).
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong Leadership and Communication skills
- Valid First Aid Certification (preferred)
- A valid Smart Serve Certificate is required.
