**Responsibilities**:

- Strategically managing the accounting and finance functions to ensure the integrity of the company's financial information
- Directing accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles
- Recommending improvements to enhance the accuracy and effectiveness of the company's financial reporting
- Managing the relationship with external third-party advisors, including independent auditors, technology consultants, and ERP advisors
- Overseeing financial systems implementations and upgrades to ensure the efficient functioning of the company's financial systems
- Identifying and managing business risks and insurance requirements to minimize financial and operational exposure

**The successful applicant must have**:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting
- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial management
- Expertise in MS Office, QBO, and ERP/database
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

**Bonus points if you have one or more of these**:

- Experience and a passion for reporting
- Previous experience in the floral industry

**Physical/Mental Demands**
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to handle screen use (phone, computer, etc.) for extended periods of time
- Ability to handle stress, as this role can at times be highly stressful

**Salary**: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
