As a proud plant-based manufacturer with an emphasis on organic and non-GMO ingredient sourcing, we boast a reduced-footprint operation compared to conventional food manufacturers. We are a customer driven organization catering to special diets and allergies while focusing on sustainable agriculture and the green food industry.

**Essential Functions**:

- Helping with loading the truck in the mornings in a timely manner.
- Observing speed limits and obeying all road signs.
- Keeping a clipboard of driving route, invoices, mileage and gas receipts.
- Performing simple vehicle safety checks before each trip.
- Loading and unloading delivery goods.
- Informing supervisor of any vehicle problems.
- Driving to and from delivery destinations in a safe manner.
- Interacting with customers to obtain payment and signatures and keeping payments safe.
- Heavy lifting of packages and other equipment
- Driving to and from auto garage to pick up vehicle after service is done.
- Other tasks as assigned.

**Qualifications and skills**:

- Valid G driver's license.
- Clean driving record.
- 3 years of experience in commercial drive with uninterrupted insurance coverage.
- Conversational English is required in order to communicate with customers and coworkers and effective relay information.
- Must be alert and aware of their surroundings on the road.Must be highly organized with a strong sense of direction.
- Delivery drivers also must be prepared to work odd and long hours, as well as possess the strength needed for the heavy lifting that often comes with the job.
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and managers.
- Mathematics skills equivalent to Grade 12 level

**Expectations**:

- Reports to work each day and on time.
- Employee must comply with proper safety policies and procedures as required.
- Driver is expected to complete deliveries assigned in a timely manner.
- Driver is expected to keep a flexible schedule to accommodate for unexpected changes in demand.
- Driver is expected to keep the inside of the vehicle clean and remove all personal items at the end of each shift.

**Physical Demands**:

- Walking, standing and bending forward.
- Pushing and pulling objects.
- Repetitive lifting of objects up to 50 lbs.
- Repetitive arm movements.
- Driving all day during all seasons of the year.
- Hours may vary based on ordering patterns.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

**Experience**:
