**FYidoctors Burnaby **looking for someone like you to bring your exceptional skills and experience with you and join us as our newest **Optical Associate.**

The **Optical Associate** plays a critical role within FYidoctors and is crucial to our success by delivering world-class service to our patients. You'll often be the first point of contact with the public, so you must bring with you your passion for people and your drive to deliver an exceptional customer experience. With your help, we'll continue to have a positive impact on our current patients' health and well-being, as well as the patients we haven't yet met.

This position is a full-time, permanent role working 30 - 40 hours per week. Our clinic is open Saturdays so regular weekend availability is a must.

**Responsibilities**
- Educating clients about the best eyewear choices for their lifestyle, ensuring they receive the best in value and quality
- Informing patients about advances in corrective eyewear solutions as well as assisting with the selection of frames to suit your client's aesthetic and performance needs
- Performing frame and facial measurements to ensure correct fit and positioning of eyewear
- Performing repairs and adjustments to patients’ eyewear
- Arranging and maintaining retail display area
- Contributing to store retail sales goals
- Upholding excellent customer service standards using your charisma and problem-solving skills
- Ideally, you will have some customer-facing experience, preferably in a retail environment
- Experience in the optical world or knowledge of routine eye care would be beneficial but not essential
- Professional and approachable manner and a love of meeting and interacting with people
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- A high level of comfort using technology and computers with solid proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Committed to excelling as a member of a high performing team
