**At numbercrunch, we are a growing team of Bookkeepers, Controllers and CFOs working cohesively to provide small and medium sized businesses with an outsourced financial service team leveraging cloud-based accounting tools like Quickbooks Online, Hubdoc, and other efficiency apps.**

**The Basics**
**Team**: Financial Services
**Salary**:Depending on experience
**Location**: Office & Remote
**Hours**: 9:00am to 5:00pm Mon-Fri

**Benefits**: Full benefits package with matching RRSP
**Employment Type**: Full Time
**Vacation**: Two weeks paid (10 days) with Workcation option
**Start Date**: As soon as possible

**About this Opportunity**
- Overseeing full-cycle accounting for small and mid sized clients.
- Manage the month end close processes, accruals and adjustments including financial reporting
- Establish annual financial plan/budgets for clients, and producing monthly variance reports
- Produce reports that help business owners better understand their financial performance
- Lead year-end close process and liaise with external auditors at year end
- Supervise bookkeeping support staff as well as mentoring and coaching.

**At numbercrunch we value experience over education. Your strength is your hands on financial leadership experience including**:

- 2 years experience as a Controller
- 3 years experience as a Bookkeeper (prior to being a Controller)
- Accounting Diploma or University Degree. We recognize skills over designations and respect international training achievements.
- Previous supervisory experience (minimum 3 years)
- Experience working with cloud-based accounting software
- Experience overseeing a team
- Solid technical accounting skills
- Very strong excel skills (must know how to use pivot tables at minimum)
- Experience supporting SaaS companies is an asset (familiarity with SaaS metrics)
