**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities: Operational Management**:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the facility, including waste intake, processing, and final product handling.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Monitor the performance of processing equipment, coordinating maintenance and upgrades as needed.
**P&L and Financial Oversight**:
- Oversee the facility’s **P&L**, ensuring operations remain within budget while maximizing profitability.
- Analyze financial performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement corrective measures when needed.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and trends.
**Team Leadership**:
- Lead and motivate a diverse team of staff, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and innovation.
- Conduct regular training sessions to ensure employees adhere to safety protocols and industry best practices.
**Environmental Compliance**:
- Ensure strict adherence to environmental regulations related to organic waste processing.
- Conduct regular audits and implement corrective actions to maintain compliance with government standards.
**Health & Safety Management**:
- Enforce workplace safety standards to minimize risks and maintain a zero-incident workplace.
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans tailored to facility operations.
**Stakeholder Collaboration**:
- Work closely with clients, contractors, and regulators to address operational needs and challenges.
- Represent the facility in meetings with stakeholders, promoting transparency and trust.
**Strategic Planning and Innovation**:
- Evaluate new technologies and methods to improve waste processing efficiency and sustainability.
- Forecast operational demands and align resources to meet future challenges and opportunities.
**Qualifications: Education & Experience**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Environmental Science, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in facility management, waste management, or a similar role, with a proven track record of **P&L management**.
**Skills & Competencies**:
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and profitability analysis.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Thorough understanding of waste processing technologies and environmental compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in operational and financial reporting tools.
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills.
**Certifications**:
- Certifications in waste management, environmental compliance, or facility management are an asset.
**Work Environment**:
- Fast-paced facility environment with exposure to organic materials and processing equipment.
- Availability for emergency calls or operational demands outside of regular working hours
Pay: $135,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
