- Job Summary:- Key Responsibilities:
- Test Automation Development:

- Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Selenium with Java or Playwright with Java.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure automated tests integrate seamlessly into the development workflow.
- API Testing using Rest Assured:

- Develop and execute automated tests for REST APIs using Rest Assured.
- Validate API responses, status codes, and ensure adherence to security, performance, and functional requirements.
- BDD and Continuous Integration:

- Implement and maintain BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) frameworks using Cucumber, Gherkin, or other BDD tools.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing throughout the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with product teams to define and execute acceptance criteria for features using a BDD approach.
- Cloud-based Testing:

- Utilize cloud-based testing tools and services to automate and scale test execution.
- Work in a distributed, cloud-first environment, ensuring the automated tests are compatible with cloud-based infrastructure.
- Collaboration and Communication:

- Communicate clearly and effectively with cross-functional teams, including product owners, developers, and other testers.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily standups to ensure alignment between testing efforts and development goals.
- Bug Reporting and Test Reporting:

- Report and track bugs found during testing in a clear and concise manner.
- Analyze test results and provide feedback to improve product quality.
- Generate regular test reports and documentation for stakeholders.
- Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise:

- Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver or Playwright for automated test script development.
- Proficiency in Java programming language for automation development.
- Hands-on experience with Rest Assured for API testing and integration with automated test cases.
- BDD Frameworks:

- Experience in BDD with tools like Cucumber, Gherkin, or similar.
- Ability to write clear and understandable Gherkin syntax and translate it into executable steps.
- Continuous Integration (CI) & Cloud:

- Experience with CI tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience in setting up automated tests within CI pipelines, including running tests on cloud-based infrastructure.
- Automation Best Practices:

- Strong knowledge of automation frameworks, strategies, and best practices for scalable, maintainable automation.
- Experience in building robust, reusable, and scalable test automation suites.
- Testing Tools & Methodologies:

- Experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
- Strong understanding of Agile development processes and test-driven development (TDD).
- Collaboration and Teamwork:

- Ability to work in an Agile environment and collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical team members.
- Nice to Have (Additional Skills):
- Familiarity with additional automation tools or languages, such as TestNG, JUnit, Python, etc.
- Experience in testing microservices architecture or distributed systems.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.
- Experience with Docker and containerized testing environments
