Intermediate Unix Administrator

Alteo is looking for an Intermediate Unix Administrator (SRE) for a permanent position based in Montreal.

Your main role will be to contribute to the smooth running and optimization of operations (payment industry), by recommending the implementation of methodological and technical solutions, while ensuring compliance with processes and regulations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Contribute to the definition of procedures to ensure service performance
- Contribute to the study and analysis of electronic payment platform requirements
- Contribute to the analysis of operating constraints
- Contribute to the industrialization of production and implementation of the business resumption plan
- Contribute to the definition and implementation of procedures
- Contribute to the drafting of qualification and patch testing procedures
- Contribute to customer support in order to meet availability and reliability commitments
- Contribute to the handling and processing of requests and incidents
- Contribute to the definition of production release requirements
- Contribute to managing relations between customers and editors/service providers
- Contribute to the production of activity reports
- Contribute to drawing up maintenance action plans
- Contribute to the definition of service tasks: alarms, scheduling, backups and planning of processing (Batch)
- Contribute to committees with internal teams and/or customers (e.g. Steering Committee, Production Committee...)
- Contribute to user support in order to guarantee the processing of reported anomalies
- Contribute to technical support for users (2nd and 3rd levels)
- Contribute to the timely response to operating incidents (e.g. analysis, diagnosis and resolution)
- Contribute to the anticipation of user needs and system evolutions
- Contribute to technical documentation
- Contribute to the follow-up of operating incidents, by analyzing causes and taking associated corrective measures.

**Profile**:

- DEC/BAC in IT or equivalent
- 3-5 years' experience in a similar role
- Familiarity with the electronic payment industry (an important asset)
- Unix server
- Databases (e.g. Oracle, PostgreSQL...)
- Batch and Shell scripting
- File transfer station (CFT, SFTP...)
- International network platforms (e.g. Edit Package Visa, Master Com...)
- Scheduling tools (e.g. AUTOMIC, $UNIVERS...)
- Network architectures and security

Alteo est à la recherche d'un Administrateur Unix Intermédiaire (SRE) pour un poste permanent basé à Montréal.

Votre rôle principal sera de contribuer au bon fonctionnement et à l'optimisation des opérations (industrie de la monétique), en préconisant la mise en œuvre de solutions méthodologiques et techniques, tout en veillant au respect des processus et réglementations.

- Contribuer à l’analyse des contraintes d’exploitabilité
- Contribuer à l’industrialisation de la production et la mise en œuvre du plan de reprise des activités
- Contribuer à la définition et la réalisation des procédures
- Contribuer à la rédaction des procédures de qualification et de test des correctifs
- Contribuer au support client dans le but de respecter les engagements de disponibilité et de fiabilité
- Contribuer à la prise en charge et le traitement des demandes et des incidents
- Contribuer à la définition des prérequis de mise en production
- Contribuer à la gestion de relation entre les clients et les éditeurs/fournisseurs de service
- Contribuer à la production des rapports d'activité
- Contribuer à l'élaboration des plans des actions de maintenance
- Contribuer à la définition des tâches de servitude : alarmes, ordonnancement, sauvegardes et planifier les traitements (Batch)
- Contribuer aux Comités avec les équipes internes et/ou les clients (e.g. Comité de Pilotage, Comité de Production )
- Contribuer au support utilisateurs dans le but de garantir le traitement des anomalies remontées
- Contribuer au support technique aux utilisateurs (2e et 3e niveaux)
- Contribuer à l'intervention sous contraintes de délais lors des incidents d’exploitation (e.g. analyse, diagnostic et résolution)
- Contribuer à l'anticipation des besoins des utilisateurs et les évolutions du système
- Contribuer à la documentation technique
- Contribuer au suivi des incidents d’exploitation, en analysant les causes et prenant les mesures correctives associées

Profil:

- DEC/BAC en IT ou l'équivalent
- 3-5 années d'expérience dans un rôl
