Our client in Mississauga is looking for a Tube Bending Machine Operator. who will be responsible for following the daily production list and bending the necessasary inventory. Ensuring quality and accuracy at work.

**Responsibilities**:

- Must be able to set up and run tube bending equipment to form and bend tubing pieces
- Set up and run according to the production schedule.
- Set up all jobs according to specifications using VTube Laser
- Measure dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications
- Must be able to distinguish / identify angles, radius and critical dimensions of formed parts.
- Safely and accurately, operate machines to produce pieces to quality and efficiency standards, including repetitively lifting parts into machines manually, and repetitively removing parts and remnants.
- Ability to read work orders to determine specifications, such as materials to be used, dimensions and tolerances, proper tooling and labeling of parts, etc., and accurately complete all required functions to ensure only quality product is produced
- Perform cleaning duties for manufacturing equipment, Operator Maintenance on Machine (Clean and Lubricate etc.)
- Support achievement of company standards in safety, efficiency, quality, on-time production etc.
- Other tasks as required.

**Skills and Abilities**:

- Ability to operate a Tube Bender
- Basic mechanical ability, along with good math skills
- Good hand/eye coordination
- Must display good judgment, work well independently, and work well with others.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-5-year previous machine operating or mechanical experience required.
- Ability to frequently lift packages that may weigh up to 70 lbs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented and able to multitask.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$26.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
