The Information Administrator and IT Support will be responsible for Ensuring that The Tooth Corner’s information and date is secure, leads initiatives, designs and implements new processes and tools, and recommends opportunities for improved efficiency and effectiveness to drive the maturity of the Tooth Corner’s Information Security programs and infrastructure.

**Responsibilities**:

- Analyze and establish security requirements for The Tooth Corner’s systems/network.
- Defend systems against unauthorized access, modification and/or destruction.
- Participate in key Information Security projects and initiatives.
- Assisting in the development of future strategies and defining the tactical initiatives necessary to achieve strategic goals related to information security.
- Has access to confidential information about accounts and customers.
- Protects the privacy and confidentiality of customers, other employees, and work.
- Performs regular scanning and remediation for devices not in compliance with security policies and procedures, compromised or infected devices on the network. ESET endpoint protection experience is a bonus.
- In collaboration with the HR Department, implements security policies and procedures and compliance.
- Share technical advice to colleagues and participate in technical collaboration.
- Research and recommend security upgrades.
- Responds immediately to security incidents and provide post-incident analysis.
- Participate in security audits to ensure operational security.
- Train fellow employees in security awareness, protocols, and procedures.
- Monitors routine security administration.
- Identify abnormalities and escalate them as necessary.
- Perform vulnerability testing, risk analyses, and security assessments.
- Define access privileges, control structures, and resources.
- Configure and support security tools such as network scanning software, anti-virus software, patch management systems, etc.
- Perform other duties of the Information Security department as assigned

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
- A+ and N+ Certificate

**Salary**: From $40,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
