We are hiring a talented** Liferay/AWS consultant **to join our growing company for a contractual role to be located anywhere in Canada to implement a Liferay solution for customers.

**The job duties include**:

- 7+ years of relevant professional experience in business or technology required
- Lead, Architect, and coordinate development activities and be the anchor of technical expertise with internal and onsite technical teams.
- Experience with leading a team of at least 3 people, architecting solutions, establishing best practices, and introducing/implementing new technologies.
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code
- Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
- Prepare and produce releases of software components
- Work and communicate effectively in a team environment
- Work with our global technology partner to deliver solutions to our clients

**You’ll need to have experience with**:
**Liferay**:

- Liferay Portal administration includes CMS, DMS, and Integrations with downstream apps with OOTB Portlets.
- Liferay Development using Gradle / Maven, should have experience in building OSGi modules.
- Theme development with LDS or NPM or BLADE or YO/Gulp.
- Deployment, creating jobs in Jenkins and scheduling.
- Experience with Liferay with images/containers onto AWS K8s / Azure / GCP / Hybrid / On-Prem.

**AWS**:

- Experience on EC2, Code Pipelines, AWS DevOps includes server health monitoring Integrations to GitHub / BitBucket for CI / CD.
- Experience on Linux-based OS systems is a MUST in terms of creating services using systemctls and monitoring resource utilization.
- Better to have experience on Tunnels or IPSecs etc.,. for resources spread across various regions on AWS.
