**Missions and Responsibilities**

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**
- Install and maintain database servers and related systems, such as WebLogic.
- Develop processes for optimizing database security.
- Assist in the development of database standards, and enforce compliance of governance standards.
- Manage database access.
- Monitor database performance and resolve issues as needed.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.
- Recommend and implement emerging database technologies.
- Create automation for repeating database tasks.
- Be available for on-call support as needed.
- Cloning full EBS environment as well as patching
- Promoting change requests to PROD instance
- Support month-end close activities

**Competencies and Profile** Education, Training or Certification Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, Business, or a related discipline
- Minimum 4-6 years of Oracle Apps DB Admin and relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of EBS R12, online patching
- Experience in managing databases, including administration, management, data imports/exports, and reporting on performance metrics
- Intermediate knowledge in hardware and networking
- Knowledge of emerging technologies, such as Cloud and NoSQL is desirable
