Come join our team and share your passion with us This role is located at CFB Moose Jaw, SK. **This Role**: You will be expected to perform complex but standard technical tasks including preventative and corrective maintenance work in office, on site, and in the field and may execute some design work. Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: - Perform preventive maintenance tasks on the simulators and associated simulator systems - Assist in diagnosing and correcting problems on the simulators and associated simulator systems - Diagnose and correct routine problems on the simulators and associated simulator systems - Utilize maintenance management system to record and track maintenance activities - Train technicians in basic skills - Perform pre-flight and post flight on all simulators - Perform visual alignments - Run and evaluate Qualification Test Guide (QTG) results - Assist with refurbishment and hardware modifications - Provide customer service support and address customer needs in a timely manner - Perform logistics duties, including parts received, repair, and testing/validation - Basic knowledge of aircraft flight principals and instrumentation. - Ability to use and interpret all diagnostic tools available on multiple types of simulators - Ability to solder and use basic shop/lab hand and power tools. **Your Profile**: - 2-year technical post-secondary education or equivalent related training - Be able to hold a Canadian Security Clearance & Controlled Good Clearance - Eligibility to work in Canada either as a Canadian Citizen, a Permanent Resident or with a valid Work Permit - Ability to troubleshoot systems to board level on at least multiple types of simulators - Proficiency in using all types of test equipment’s - Ability to use and interpret all diagnostic available on multiple types of simulators - Ability to perform preventive maintenance, pre-flight, and post flight checks on any simulator in the fleet - Ability to perform basic visual projector adjustments and set-ups on at least 1 type of visual system - Ability to assist with projects such as refurbishments and other hardware modifications - Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and suite - Physically able to perform manual labour tasks and able to work in confined spaces - An asset, but not necessary: Minimum of 3 years direct simulator experience with at least 1 year relative simulator experience **We offer you**: - Autonomy within a responsible position with a high visibility - A supportive, dynamic team and a friendly corporate culture - Excellent global career opportunities within an international, growth-oriented company - A wide range of services for your health and personal well-being, with a company benefits plan, pension and stock purchase plans LI-MC1 **Position Type** Regular CAE thanks all applicants for their interest.
