**First Onsite **has an immediate opening for a **Contents Manager**
**Position Summary**: The Contents Manager is responsible for all cleaning and contents handling processes on claims that occur in the First Onsite facilities. The CM leads the Contents Processing staff to ensure timely and efficient processing, handling and storage of contents. They are responsible for the Quality Control of content processing. The CM is also responsible for the facility and physical assets of the company including the vehicles, equipment and inventory.
**Responsbilities**
**Employee Engagement/Leadership**
- Lead the best quality team to achieving the objectives of our corporate strategic plan.
- Ensure that the company health and safety policies and procedures are followed for all First Onsite personnel and sub-contractors. This includes ensuring all personnel are up to date with all health and safety procedures and training and conducting tail gate meetings relating to health and safety and work procedures when on site.
- Develop a performance culture through providing all employees on your team with regular feedback and specific development plans.
- Support a culture of 'employer of choice' to attract, retain and motivate the best quality team
- Required to work closely with the Project Manager.
- Manage and schedule Contents Technicians and verify adherence to procedures, quality and service levels
- Train and educate new employees on company policy and restoration procedures
**Cost Efficiency/Operations**
- Ensure contents are processed, handled, and stored in an effective, efficient manner
- Ensure all contents in warehouse are managed and inventoried
- Ensure communication to project stakeholders to ensure NR contents are moved out after restoration is complete
- Manage priorities and ensure deadlines are met
- Ensure processes are followed and documented per protocol.
- Review and approve all processing costs on cost cards and confirm to PM when complete.
- Track all vehicles to ensure protection of this valuable asset and ensure maintenance is scheduled. Report any vehicle concerns to the Branch Manager.
- Ensure truck mount is ready for EM response service (where applicable)
- Track all assets purchased on First Onsite asset inventory. Ensure bi-annual review of all assets.
- Prepare year-end report of all lost/damaged assets.
- Track all restoration equipment; manage sign in/out and maintenance as required.
- Ensure the facility, including the warehouse is kept clean and organized.
- Manage all purchasing and inventory tracking. Produce monthly inventory report.
- Liaise with moving companies and outside storage facilities when required.
**Customer Service Excellence**
- Resolve complicated contents restoration issues
- Communicate contents restoration requirements and issues effectively to the file Project Manager and PM.
- Review and approve timesheets for staff for all projects.
- Ensure quality control of all internal processing.
- Participate in 24/7 management on-call rotation
**Education and Experience**
- Minimum High School graduate or equivalent.
- College certification in environmental i.e. Environmental Technician
- Minimum 2 years' experience in the restoration/emergency industry, preferably working in the Emergency & Contents division
- Relevant cleaning experience may be considered
- Relevant environmental experience an asset
- Accounting skills basic understanding of invoicing, billing and general math skills
- Leadership experience in leading teams, coaching and developing employees
**Desired Certifications**
- Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician (FSRT) certification
- Odor Control Technician certification (OCT)
- Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) certification
- Proficiency with biological technology
- Possesses the educational requirements to obtain certification in: Commercial Carpet Cleaning (CCT), Carpet Repair and Reinstallation (RRT) and Upholstery & Fabric Cleaning (UFT)
