We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Material Handler to join our dynamic team in Vancouver, Canada. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth flow of materials within our warehouse, contributing to our commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders with precision and attention to detail
- Receive, count, and verify incoming materials from vendors and customer returns
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load and unload trucks
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report any discrepancies promptly
- Ensure proper storage and organization of materials within the warehouse
- Collaborate with team members to meet customer needs and maintain high service levels
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
- Perform regular cycle counts and participate in inventory audits
- Follow all health and safety regulations and company procedures diligently
- Utilize warehouse management software to process orders and update inventory
- Work both indoors and outdoors, adapting to varying weather conditions as needed
- Assist with customer service at the counter when required

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent; college or university degree is an asset
- Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Physical capability to lift and move heavy items regularly
- Basic math skills and ability to perform accurate counts
- Proficiency in using warehouse management software and Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of inventory management practices and warehouse operations
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and workloads
- Safety-conscious approach to all tasks and commitment to following safety procedures
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors
- Knowledge of infrastructure products is a plus

**Additional Information**
Salary Range - $40-50K
