Securiwatch Security is committed to providing a safe and secure shopping environment for our customers and staff. We are looking for dedicated and professional individuals to join our team as Retail Tactical Guards / Loss Prevention Officers (LPO).

**Job Description**:
As a Retail Tactical Guard / Loss Prevention Officer, your primary responsibilities will include preventing theft, ensuring the safety of our staff, and maintaining a secure environment within the store. You will be in full tactical uniform and will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our retail operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Actively monitor and patrol the retail floor to deter theft and ensure the safety of staff and customers.
- Identify and apprehend shoplifters in accordance with store policies and procedures.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies, providing a calm and professional presence.
- Collaborate with store management and other team members to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Document and report incidents, suspicious activities, and any other security concerns.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any questions or concerns from staff and customers.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Previous retail security experience is required, with hands-on experience dealing with shoplifters and enforcing store policies.
- **Physical Fitness**: Must be physically fit and able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff, customers, and law enforcement.
- **Use of Force**: Experience and training in the appropriate use of force, adhering to legal and company guidelines.
- **Uniform**: Must be comfortable wearing a full tactical uniform.
- **Team Player**: Ability to work collaboratively with store management and other team members.
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong observational skills and attention to detail.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Security certification or training is a plus.
- First aid and CPR certification is an advantage.
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and best practices.

How to Apply:

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
- Weekends only

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Security Guard Licence (required)
