**About The Role**

Reporting to the Project Manager on the project, the Document Controller is responsible for receiving, managing, tracking, maintaining, and distributing documents to the project team (internal and external) as per Graham’s document distribution matrix using an EDMS (Electronic Database Management System). The incumbent is responsible for training external and internal team members on Graham’s internal and client-based procedures and processes (contractual obligations), which can vary by project.

**This position is primarily site based, with LOA or camp accommodations provided, depending on the project, while working on site. Home office location is Saskatoon, pre and post project mobilization work to be completed from the Saskatoon office.**

**As a Document Controller at Graham, you will**:

- Receive, decipher, and process documents from the client, engineering firms, subcontractors, and team members.
- Carry out revision control as it pertains to hard copies and soft copies per contract requirements.
- Administer and maintain the document control management process in accordance with policies, procedures, and Clients' standards: issuing, receiving, and distributing all documents, filing, archiving all incoming and outgoing documentation (hard and electronic copies).
- Distribution of all documents to all required team members.
- Become an expert user in the use of web-based document control systems, (as required by the clients) including training users and assisting outside organizations (when necessary).
- Printing of all drawings, specs, TQs etc.
- Maintain current and accurate filing of contract documents in project folders: download files, upload files, print files as necessary
- Enter documents into EDMS and associate all applicable metadata based on the requirements of the job.
- Manage Document Control Tracker: update and keep current the document control tracker.
- Ensure the DDM (Document Distribution Matrix) is maintained and updated.
- Setup SharePoint access for outside partners if required, provide instruction to outside partners on the functionality of the SharePoint
- Provide project administrative support to project team as required including new worker set up etc.

**Qualifications/Experience**:

- Completion of a high school diploma.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant document control experience.
- Experience working on large construction projects.
- Experience working on a joint venture project is an asset.
- Experience with SharePoint, Ineight, Aconex, Procore, Access, metadata tracking, Bluebeam/Adobe, and MS Office Suite.
