**_Catholic Social Services is currently recruiting for one (1), contract, part time, thirty two (32) hours per week (Sat 7:00am - 3:00pm, Sunday 3:00pm - 11:00pm, Monday and Tuesday 2:00pm - 10:00pm) Community Disability Worker at St. Angela's House in Edmonton, AB._**

**_This position is a month-to-month contract._**

You will be joining an established Agency that is guided by faith to care for and bring hope to people in need with humility, compassion and respect. With more than 50 years of service delivery, Catholic Social Services is one of the largest multi-function social services agencies in Canada, with more than 1800 staff, and hundreds of volunteers delivering 130+ programs throughout Central Alberta.

**Job Summary**:
**Education and Qualifications**:

- Minimum Grade 12 education. A Diploma/Degree in Disability Services, Social Work or Human Services (or equivalent) is considered an asset
- Minimum 6 months experience working with persons with developmental disabilities
- Should have good experience in personal care, as well as lifting.
- Should possess experience working with high behaviors, complex needs and dual-diagnosis.
- Criminal Record Check
- Child Intervention Record Check

**Compensation**:
The salary range for this position is **$17.77 to $18.86 per hour **based on qualifications and experience.
