The ROLE
We are seeking a dynamic and collaborative Marketing Specialist to join our Business Development department. In this role, you will be pivotal in promoting BCM’s diverse insurance products and elevating our brand presence, both in the physical and digital realms. This position is ideal for someone with a flair for communication, a knack for building relationships, and a creative approach to marketing strategies.
- Lead and enhance BCM’s community engagement through active participation and coordination of trade shows and local events.
- Manage the lifecycle of promotional materials from idea generation to distribution.
- Oversee the administration and marketing activities of BCM’s Community Grant Program, including support for the allocation committee.
- Champion digital content creation & campaigns for all of BCM’s social media platforms & website.
- Work with the Insurance Advisor team to help initiate individualized advertising campaigns.
- Initiate and manage social media and traditional marketing campaigns from conception through to execution.
- Develop and maintain reports on marketing budgets, brand engagement, and performance metrics.
- Take on additional tasks as needed to support the marketing department needs.
What We look for
- A Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Marketing or Communications.
- At least 3 years of experience in advertising, with a proven track record in managing successful campaigns on Meta (Facebook & Instagram) and Google.
- A solid grasp of brand strategy and its impact on the customer experience.
- Creative design capabilities with proficiency in related software suites (i.e. Photoshop, Canva etc.).
- A valid Ontario driver’s license and travel capability.
- Very strong communication and interpersonal skills.
