**Required Qualifications**

**Education**:

- Minimum grade 12.

**Work Experience**:

- 5 years related work experience as CNC Set-Up / Operator in previous manufacturing environment is considered an asset.

**Other Job Requirements**:

- Must have own transportation
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Must be able to work all shifts
- Must have a good command of the English language
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Able to make sound decisions
- **Technical Skills and Knowledge**:

- **Understanding of GD&T**
- Able to perform own setups
- Ability to understand and read blue prints.
- Ability to do own in-process inspection preferred
- Must have good hand/eye coordination
- Able to Manually edit programs
- Basic knowledge in logistics
- Understanding of engineering drawings an asset
- Knowledge of Tooling & Speeds & Feeds
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent analytical and reasoning skills
- Familiar with ISO Standards would be an asset
- Complete all requirements as outlined in the Skills and Training Matrix, HRS-F001.

**Responsibilities**

**General Day to Day**:

- Machine set-up.
- Light machine maintenance.
- Machine parts to close tolerances in a timely manner.
- House Keeping
- Must maintain a positive and helpful attitude.
- Must participate in plant meetings and continuous improvement initiatives
- Able to multitask, coordinate and take on several tasks at one time
- Any other duties that may be required and assigned by management, from time to time
- Uphold core values of respect, integrity and trust at-all-times

**Safety**
- Must abide by the Occupational Health and Safety Act Regulations
- Must abide by all Safety Policies and Procedures
- Must abide by the Environmental Policy along with the “3R” (reduce, reuse and recycle) procedures
- Must report all unsafe acts at all times
- Must complete all requirements as outlined in the HR Training Matrix, HRS-F001
- Must contribute to a safe, clean and comfortable work environment that compliments the Occupational Health and Safety Act by ensuring the principles of the 6S discipline (simplify, separate, sanitize, standardize, support and safety) are supported and adhered to.

**Quality**
- Must abide by all Quality Policies and Procedures
- Must adhere to all customer requirements as required
- Must report all quality deficiencies at all times

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
