Summary
The Transposer Operator ensures safe, efficient operation, cleaning of and running adjustments for the machine.
**Responsibilities**:
**Primary Responsibilities**
- Rolls reel to jack and places on cradle bobbin holders and welds copper wire ends together to feed through machine
- Sets up machine per order requirements, frequently checking machining process for accuracy
- Uses and reads micrometers to measure wire, while monitoring processes and controls to assure quality
- Properly fills out labels, places completed reel in designated location and communicates with supervisors & associates.
- Maintains cleanliness of area
**Education Requirements**
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
**Minimum Experience Required**
- Entry level
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required**
- Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions
- Ability to use and read micrometers to measure wire. Complete paperwork, record and enter data
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors & associates
- Ability to follow plant work rules, work instructions, safety rules and established processes, procedures & practices
- Maintains cleanliness of area
- Ability to use tools including wire cutters, pliers, wrenches, hammer, micrometers, and computer
**Computer Equipment and Software Requirements**
- Inputs information into computer
