We produce, supply and install wood work to various locations, job-sites and residences. Including custom wood work to schools, restaurants, retail, hospitals, airports and more.

We are looking for a full time, permanent Project Manager with experience that can help bring McMurray Interiors to the next generation of employee driven ownership.

**Experience**:

- At least 5 years or more of Project Manager Experience. This includes Cabinetmaking, Architectural Millwork, Doors, Takeoffs, and Installation co-ordination.
- Any Interior Design Background is an asset but not required

**Language**:

- Fluently speak, read, and write English

**Specific Skills**:

- Act as a liaison between internal departments, clients, outside vendors, sub-contractors, and installers as it pertains to coordinating project completion.
- Review all bid documents (prior to hand-off) including architectural drawings, bulletins, RFI’s, specifications, contracts, and schedules.
- Development of the project schedule that will outline the project lifecycle.
- Read and review contracts with the client as well as the building rules and regulations; make note and alert others of any specific concerns within the contact to be aware of.
- Set up and run projects with estimating / production / purchasing / engineering / other project managers.
- Keep all vendors and clients updated on all requirements of the project including deadlines, changes to schedule or scope.
- Answer any and all questions that arise from any internal or external customer. This includes writing and sending RFI’s to the General Contractor or Architect.
- Work with the General Contractor / Clients to secure all required coordination information.
- Review, read, interpret, understand, and assist in the creation of shop drawing submittal package.
- Integrate all approved Project changes into engineering and production departments.
- Coordinate submittals of all material samples, finish samples, and drawings.
- Acquire field measurements from the site as well as attending site meetings, shop drawing reviews, and scope walks
- Travel to jobsites
- Receive and review all documentation received from the contractor / design team and distribute / file accordingly
- Implement Site measurements in AutoCad
- Write Work orders to submit to the shop.
- Coordinate deliveries and set up delivery notices.
- Submit monthly requisitions, invoicing and follow all billing and billing related procedures coordinating accounting department and the client.
- Coordinate closeout requests and gather required documents to forward to the contractor / client
- Ensure clients’ needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner utilizing all of the tools you have at your disposal.
- Job position requires excellent use of the following skill sets: verbal/written communication, time management, planning, executing, decision-making, technical, organization, and a managerial aptitude.

- Ability to use good judgement, reliable and trust worthy
- Must be punctual and extremely organized and detail oriented
- Excellent Oral and Written Communications skills
- Strong background in Construction and or Architecture
- Ability to calmly handle multiple task concurrently and work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Should have positive attitude, be dependable and self-starter

**Software Knowledge**:

- AutoCad
- Word
- Outlook
- Excel
- Adobe / Bluebeam
- Powerpoint

**Work Conditions**:

- Use of PPE such as Steel Toe Boots, Safety Glasses, Vests. Any PPE required by General Contractor or client.

**Transportation**:

- Provide own means to and from shop to work on time. Some transportation to site required.

**Wage**:

- Negotiable based on experience, and potential industry exposure.

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
