- **Role Summary**:_
Our Southwest Ontario Region is currently looking for a self-motivated, optimistic and skillful individual for the Sales Support Specialist role. We are looking for someone who has the ability to multitask and think strategically in order to achieve sales objectives, where _customer_ and _team_ approaches are paramount to success The primary focus of this position is to complete activities related to all aspects of sales, which includes providing assistance and day-to-day support to the sales team and/or the Fire Division in its efforts to sell fire safety systems, equipment and preventative maintenance contracts. This position can be fulfilled out of our Stoney Creek, London or Windsor Branch locations.
- **Key Job Responsibilities**:_
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with direct inside sales customers, supporting them through ongoing training, customer-facing meetings and presentations.
- Quote parts sales for customers with technical accuracy and within Company pricing guidelines.
- Process automatic renewal contracts and maintain existing base with customers.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-ups in the CRM system (i.e. Salesforce).
- Collaborate closely with outside sales representatives for technically complex and large quotations to ensure a timely, accurate flow of information and quotes.
- Assist and support sales representatives in site visits and customer-facing meetings.
- Assume temporary sales duties to ensure territory coverage as required.
- Provide mentorship and training to service sales representatives.
- Monitor turnaround times by sales representatives (labor, costs, materials, systems, renos, inspections, deficiencies).
- Review proposals, quotes and estimates generated by sales representatives using Chubb’s CRM and ERP tools (i.e. Salesforce, ProQuote, iSales), ensuring that technical content, T&C’s, and pricing are accurate.
- Review the technical RFPs and support sales representatives accordingly.
- Submit all required reports (sales, expenses, competitive activity, correspondence) accurately and on time.
- Prepare, deliver and/or participate in training, sales meetings, and ongoing personal professional development where appropriate.
- Acquire knowledge and keep current in areas of company product features, legislation and regulations concerning product usage; and where possible, competitive technology.
- Ensure a safe workplace environment and compliance with EH&S policies.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and Chubb’s policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Division Manager.
- **Qualifications**:_
- Post-Secondary education in Business/Office Administration or related discipline.
- Direct sales experience is an asset.
- Relevant experience, preferably in the Life Safety industry.
- Knowledge of relevant fire alarm systems is an asset - technical knowledge preferred.
- Familiarity with ULC Standards, Building and Fire Codes, NFPA and other life safety regulatory documents.
- Proven solid customer relationship-building skills.
