Junior Reporting Analyst

**Job Purpose**

The Junior Reporting Analyst will provide support in the business intelligence function by compiling, analyzing, and interpreting data. This role assists in providing complete, accurate and timely reporting of information across the organization.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Compile and build corporate KPI reporting (Traction) and scorecards (PowerBI templates)
- Generate divisional budget variance reports and provide analysis for trends, completeness, and accuracy.
- Producing sales reports to track information on a regular basis.
- Support aspects of the monthly/quarterly/annual close process (i.e. journal entries, account reconciliations, expense analysis, and trend analysis, variance analysis).
- Analyzing financial and other business data to determine trends.
- Support the finance group’s month end accounting processes.
- Compile gross margin data and distribute gross margin reports for the sales team.
- Respond to ad hoc and/or routine requests for reports and information.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.

- Attend Weekly Level 10 meetings with the Finance Team.
- Other duties as required.

**Qualifications Include**
- Completion of a degree or applied degree in business administration.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- PowerBI knowledge an asset.
- Experience with Sage 300 is an asset.
